Stephanie Young

The medium of clay is an ongoing story of skill building and technical challenges. I have thrown and carved thousands of vases, all now in private and public collections. My social media presence allows me to reach collectors and fellow artists worldwide, affording me the luxury of hiding away in my studio with my porcelain. The few shows I venture to are an opportunity for me to meet my collectors for a mutual exchange of inspiration and creativity.  I use porcelain on the pottery wheel. Every piece of mine is carved and hand painted with glaze. Each vase has a unique design paired with a chosen shape. The ideas and motifs are still evolving today.
