My lathe turned vessels are made using unusual exotic burls or reclaimed, near extinct woods. I incorporate classical shapes, inlays, tints, hand tooled sculptural designs, the natural inclusions and formations of the wood into my artwork. I combine my singular woodworking with a lifelong passion for collecting unusual and fascinating organic elements: semi-precious minerals, fossils and various other finds from nature.
