Roberto Ferrer

By utilizing the wood I get from tree service companies and retired woodworkers, I intend to share with the viewer abstract representations of energy, motion, childhood memories, and everyday activities. Most of my process starts with a rough block of wood cut with a chainsaw, followed by turning, carving, burning, and coloring. To create my work I do not follow trends, but rather draw inspiration from past experiences  giving this way an organic feel to everything I make.
