About Rebecca Myers
With my work, I try to capture the sublime beauty found in natural forms and patterns that are awe-inspiring to us all. I use high karat gold and oxidized silver in most pieces. I use diamonds and colored stones to produce a dusting effect, or complete a pattern as opposed to being the focus of the work. My pieces can start with a casting and have many fabrication steps thereafter, or can be completely fabricated from sheet or stock. I utilize abrasive finishes, embossing, and patinas to achieve color and texture.
