About Jinbi Park

I grew up by the sea in Busan, South Korea, where the rhythm of the waves shaped everyday life. The ocean has always been a constant presence, vast, alive, and full of mystery. Later, living in Japan, another island nation, deepened that connection, keeping the sea close and influential. Scuba diving made this relationship more intimate. Beneath the surface, I encountered intricate coral formations, quiet marine life, and shifting light. These moments fostered a deep respect for the ocean’s fragile beauty and an ongoing curiosity for its forms and colors. My jewelry grows from these experiences. Each piece draws on underwater textures and patterns, transformed into contemporary forms through imagination. Diving teaches me to slow down, observe closely, and find harmony in natural structures. For me, creating jewelry is another kind of diving, exploring the unseen, translating feeling into form, and sharing a reflection of the ocean’s endless inspiration.
