In my woodturning shop, I get a chance to witness something beautiful in nature and to transform it with my own nature. To be able to use natural, often found material; to turn it on my lathe, reveal form and grain, embellish and highlight its natural beauty, and eventually send it off to its final home is a privilege that will never get old. I use many different techniques for finishing and embellishment, but all forms are lathe turned and finished by me.
