About Nancy Nagle
Pattern, structure, and color form the foundation of my woven textiles. Drawing on sacred geometry systems of proportion and repetition found throughout the natural world. I create rhythmic, wearable textiles in which motifs such as the Flower of Life emerge through complex multi-shaft weaving. My practice integrates spinning, weaving, and selectively hand-dyed yarns with a particular focus on designing and weaving on a 40-shaft loom. Through layered color, precise geometry, and the slow accumulation of woven structure, I seek to create textiles that resonate with both material presence and the body in motion.
