Zhan Zhan

She combines the language of contemporary jewelry and traditional craftsmanship to connect ancient stories with jewelry. Each piece has its own story personality and emotions. As a child, Zhan was obsessed with Japanese Yokai, Chinese beasts in fairytales, folklore, and mysterious horror stories. The Hatchery collection is a throwback to her own monster character creations back to the beginning of each creature. In designing the jewelry, Zhan innovated within the form of enamel jewelry, combining digital design and 3D printing to make enamel jewelry three dimensional and freer in design expression, while connecting contemporary jewelry with the digital trend.
