As a way to manage the sometimes excessive energy of the world around me, I find myself drawn to more natural inspirations – plants, insects, animals, and marine life. I employ these influences as abstract interpretations of natural patterns and colors and marry them with color fields and imagery informed by personal stories and family history. The result is glasswork that is clean and playful, extending colorful light and shadow on adjacent surfaces, and encouraging a peaceful respite.
