Jeanine Guncheon

I am an experimental artist at present working with uncommon found materials, many of which are linen grain bags. This old hand woven linen is literally indestructible. After opening seams, the materials are soaked and tested for durability, then sewn into long or short coats using other materials such as riverstones, found buttons, and layers of patches. The materials now have another life. I am amazed at the amount of never ending materials and objects the Universe has provided for me.
