My training and specialties are in textile and apparel design, illustration and costume history  This botanical and insect inspired collection contrasts imagery of organic forms with geometric patterns and is hand block printed.  I design, illustrate and hand carve linoleum blocks, using multiple blocks for each textile printing. Each pre-cut garment section is printed before construction, I consider the garment details as I print, customizing the textile surface to work as one with the garment silhouette. My goal is to create a hand made, one-of-a-kind garment that is flattering and comfortable, uses high quality fabrics, has timeless design, couture details and impeccable craftsmanship.
