About Annie Bisone

I see clothing as one of the most intimate aspects of our environment, something that exists in constant contact with the body and, by extension, with identity. What we wear carries the imprint of our character. It reflects our choices, our values, and the ways in which we move through the world. In this sense, garments become more than functional objects; they become extensions of the self. Through my work, I continue to explore and question this relationship. I am interested in how clothing can embody both individuality and responsibility.  How it can serve as a medium for personal expression while also addressing the environmental and ethical challenges of our time. This inquiry drives me to continually refine my process  to seek out new ways of working with materials and to remain open to evolution within my practice. Each piece is an exploration of what it means to create with intention, to honor resources, and to design for the realities of a moving, evolving human life.
