My work involves bringing aspects of many disciplines together in pursuit of a constantly evolving yet consistent design aesthetic.My metalwork combines sculptural and linear aspects. Layers of wire create a drawing like quality while simultaneously giving a sense of volume without excessive mass that would limit the wearability of a piece.  Color play is brought into the work with the introduction of torch fired vitreous enamel. Color is also introduced to the metal through the use of both stranded and hand woven leather. This not only allows for beautiful color play but also a wonderfully contrasting tactile experience when pairing soft organic qualities of leather with the metal.
