Rachael Cane

Handwoven lanterns made from paper straws inspired by patterns found in nature, lit with string led lights. As a high school math teacher,  a lot of my energy is spent helping students overcome their dislike for mathematics. Weaving lanterns gives me an opportunity to express some of the beauty of mathematics, while bringing a little fairy-light magic to others.
