Philadelphia, PA — On behalf of all who helped make the 47th Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show a success, we are pleased to announce that this year’s Show raised $273,000 for the Philadelphia Museum of Art, its sole beneficiary. A check presentation ceremony was held at the museum on December 15th. The check was presented by 2023 Show Chair, Ami Lonner and Show Manager, Nancy O’Meara to Sasha Suda, The George D. Widener Director and Chief Executive Officer.

This year’s Show included 195 of the finest craft artists from across the United States, selected from over 500 juried submissions and 44 artists who were new to the Show. The Philadelphia Museum of Art’s largest single fundraiser, the Craft Show has raised over 14.6 million dollars in its now 47-year history. Funds raised support many museum initiatives, including special exhibitions, conservation equipment, educational and family programming, and Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School student internships.

Our gratitude is extended to all the dedicated sponsors, patrons, artists, and committee volunteers who helped create this successful year of distinctive contemporary craft in Philadelphia.
