Philadelphia, PA — On behalf of all who worked to make the 49th Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show a success, we are pleased to announce that this year’s Show raised $298,000 for the Philadelphia Art Museum, its sole beneficiary. At the 2025 wrap up meeting on December 15th, a check was presented to Louis Marchesano, Marion Boulton “Kippy” Stroud Deputy Director of Curatorial Affairs and Conservation, by 2025 Show Chair, Janice Block and Show Manager, Nancy O'Meara.
This year’s Show included 195 of the very best craft artists from across the United States, selected from over 600 juried submissions and 40 artists who were new to the Show.
The Philadelphia Art Museum's largest single fundraiser, the Craft Show has raised over 15.2 million dollars in its now 49-year history. Funds raised support many museum initiatives, including special exhibitions, conservation equipment, educational and family programming, and acquisitions of art and contemporary craft.
Our gratitude is extended to all the dedicated sponsors, patrons, advertisers, artists, and committee volunteers who helped create this successful year of distinctive contemporary craft in Philadelphia.
