Paper is a medium with so many possibilities, A constant thread throughout my work is seeing the unexpected. Drawing something extraordinary from something so basic. Every person in the world interacts with paper every day. I want to witness absolute delight that causes further reflection on the inspiring things that can come from the absolutely ordinary. I almost never sketch anything but the most basic of strokes to indicate direction of movement. Paper is trimmed and shaped by hand, then adhered strip by strip in silent meditation.
