About Sandy Fisher

Using Regenerative Agricultural practices, I grow and process flax into Linen n my 4 acre farm. To create my palette I grow and process the natural dye plants that I use.  In my handwovens I use only locally sourced materials; my linen, my dye plants and my suppliers of wool and cotton all use sustainable growing practices. The creative process begins with spinning my flax/linen fiber into a blend with either wool or cotton. Once the yarn is made, I begin working on my palette. The color selection of seasonal dye plants in my garden become my inspiration.  The structures design enhances the yarn and color on the floor loom that makes the fabric. What I create reflects my passion for making a change through beauty, quality and uniqueness.
