Using digital Jacquard techniques, I create stunning textile pieces that resemble paintings. I take great care in planning the intricate details of each piece, starting with drawing and scanning my drawings or using photographs to prepare digital weave files for the loom. As my weaving has progressed, I have devoted more time to exploring the relationship between color and weaving structure. The most intriguing exploration is seeing the different results from mixing two-color yearns with unique weave structures. By merging traditional weaving techniques with modern technology, I have created works of art, both beautiful and functional.
