Andrew Welton

I am blacksmith who forges kitchen tools inspired by medieval European archaeology.  I create historically inspired cooking knives, spatulas, and serving utensils. I hand forge my knives from my own steel, much of which I smelt from ore (stone) using a medieval-style furnace. I also forge knives from pattern-welded Damascus steel, another ancient process that balances historical inspiration with modern utility.
