Christine Simpson-Forni

Christine enjoys making one-of-a-kind jewelry by delicately hand piercing intricate meandering shapes in metal or using hand built pieces of porcelain and carving found wood pieces. She says, “For me, art is my life. It’s the way I communicate ideas, understand nature and learn about life. I enjoy drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking and photography, but I love the engineering and intellectual challenges of metalsmithing and making jewelry. I enjoy the sound and power of the hammer hitting the anvil.”  You can see more of her work at her great site here. Or better yet, meet her (and her work) in person at the show!
