Scott Alexander

Warren, PA

Working with green wood allows me to make a physical connection to my pieces unlike any other medium I've worked in. There is something very special about cutting open a log and seeing the colors and amazing grain, coupled with the earthy smell. I keep my designs classically clean to allow the natural beauty of the wood to shine. I believe that my job as a wood artist is to be an editor of Mother Nature’s best work, to highlight the natural beauty of the material .My materials are all sourced locally.
