Mark Gardner

Saluda, NC

I make utilitarian and decorative bowls and vessels from native hardwoods. My work is turned on a wood lathe and then embellished using various techniques including wire brushing, burning, carving and engraving. Dyes and milk paint are used to accentuate the textures and patters.
