About Bonnie Bishoff and J.M. Syron
At the intersection of two things, we learn more about the essence of each. We experiment with the juxtaposition of colors, materials, and patterns with small and large sculptural objects- wall mounted and freestanding. We explore pattern and form: patterns reflecting the exuberance of creation and form defining the beauty of structure, interrelationships and growth. Large surfaces become a greater landscape for patterns to grow, become complex and to meet human scale. Our work incorporates polymer clay, wood and metal. We use millefiori and marquetry techniques to create these highly detailed plastic veneers.
