Matthew Naftzger

I'm creating the objects that will be the strange, unexplained artifacts in our future. Fabricated using titanium, precious metals, and vitreous enamel, my creations emulate that sense of the almost familiar, but unknown. If a sense of scale is removed, the viewer's question could be, is that a teacup or a space station? The pieces move across many different definitions. These works may be wearable, functional, wall pieces, sculptural -or a mix.
