I hand cut, hand shape and machine stitch leather into simple but elegant shapes using color and surface design elements to add a twist to each style.  Early training in sewing and later studies in weaving and surface design come together in the manipulation of purchased tanned and dyed leather.  I treat the inside and outside of each bag with the same attention to detail.  Most purses are lined with leather and have zippered or open pockets.  I use many different leathers; I have always been enchanted by their unique textures and patterns.  No endangered species are used.
