The primary design vocabulary employed in the making of jewelry objects combines industrial aesthetics with evocative romantic themes and imagery. Materials include silver, brass, bronze, aluminum, iron, colored acrylics, glow in the dark acrylic, micarta, paint, found objects. Techniques specific to my work are carving with high speed burrs, laminating acrylics, cold connections (rivets and screws), hand finished surfaces employing steel wool, file finishes, painted distressed surfacing.
