Monika Jakubec

Germany / Jewelry

Basic geometric shapes constitute the main theme in Monika's work: cones, spheres, cylinders and tubes. These forms are combined, replicated, pierced, connected or reduced to essentials. These wearable objects created are the result of a consistent development in design, each piece showing lively individuality. Her resin rings are composed of a frame of silver or gold, which is casted with colored resin. Translucent colors glow and shine, opaque colors are dense and silk-mat.
