I begin each piece with one single inspirational unique piece of wood. I then add contrast by combining different species /colored woods together. All of my work is created using hand and machine tools without the use of automated equipment. Materials are purchased from a sustainable forester and a protective finish of oil or lacquer is used. I strive to create artwork out of the functional, beauty out of the mundane and something unique out of the common. My goal is to have each piece express great originality and absolute unmatched quality.
