Alison Kelly

Brooklyn, NY

Alison Dahl Kelly is a fiber artist and trained fashion designer working under the guise Flora Obscura. She creates one-of-a-kind textiles by adapting ancient natural dye techniques to combine with eco-printing: a process of laying flora directly onto cloth to be alchemically steamed and permanently imprinted with flora. The eurythmic kimono and geometric throws are the silhouettes of choice-- zero-waste design templates ideal for displaying the harmony and discord of each uniquely flower-dyed piece.
