Shelley Jones

Richmond, VA

Focused on making decorative objects, I favor color and playfulness in my creations. I began experimenting with various media, moving from silversmithing to working with wire, then beads. I’ve added felt to my repertoire and make vessels and sculptural pieces as well as jewelry. The subtlety of felt allows me to make bold, colorful pieces, without the sense of weight that beads, or metal alone often produce.
