Maya Rose Weiss

Boulder, CO

Basket weaving and twining techniques are forms of craft that have been passed down from mother to daughter through generations. In this collection, I explore the interconnection of jewelry and weaving as a way to localize this unique intersection of history, craft, tradition and lineage. Utilizing ethically sourced, non-harmful materials is an integral part of my creative endeavor, as a way to acknowledge our interconnection to each other and the earth.
