Origami is always a magic to me when seeing a piece of paper folding into a bird, a flower...So I challenge myself to make this magic happens on metal. After many experiments, I found the tricks to fold metal by piercing, sawing, forging and soldering. The body of the Origami Butterfly Cuff is folded from a single sheet of 22g sterling silver strip to create over 40 different angled surfaces. These surfaces received hand textured finishes and keum-boo applied 23.5k gold in order to reflect lights from all angles. Light and shadow play important roles in these designs. Magic happens here!
