I have long been fascinated with texture, and with wool. Industrial felt has been the most obvious choice of fabrics for me to work with. My designs are influenced and determined by the fabric itself, its density and thickness control how it can be worked, how the bags can be constructed, and simplicity is the intended result. Crisp clean lines and edges, a so-called architectural aesthetic. Classic, elegant, timeless, durable and long lasting. All products are made in grey felt, leather handles are fastened with rivets. Needle felted circles of hand-dyed fiber can be added for bursts of color and create a design element of their own. All are designed and made in my home studio.
