I've been making hand thrown work and treating the surfaces with wax resist for 30 years. I never tire of the process or the results. That being said, my work does evolve. I've started altering my thrown forms, and my palette changes weekly. Because I have been both painting with wax and throwing for so long, there is a fluidity to my controlled forms and patterns. This rigor in contrast to the joyful chaos of the surfaces and colors hold the body of my work together.
