Remigijus Kriukas

Panevėžys, Lithuania

The work of Remigijus Kriukas is defined by an accord between harmonious rational design thinking and a decorative visual perception of material. His pieces evade description; their impact is emotional, because they contain a certain state, magic, secret, a reality and an illusion, creating the sensation of deep allusions. The logic in the proportion of their optic plastic form is comparable to that of modern architecture, both in the ratio of mass and volume, and in the sequence of surfaces and lines.
