Tenants Harbor, ME

In the beginning, inspired by the teachings of James Krenov, I incorporated strong artistic elements within the rectilinear format. In recent years I have developed a more sculptural inclination with the aim to manifest forms that are deeply engaging. A key element to manifesting a timeless piece, I've found, is choosing complimentary woods that have enriching appeal both individually and in combination. I have found that by reducing the form to its essential aesthetic perfection, enhanced by carefully selected wood combinations, those with a certain sensitivity are very deeply moved by the piece and motivated to own it.
