Candone Wharton

One of a kind, hand carved and coiled ceramics. I make a long strip of clay, carve or texture the surface, then roll it into a hollow coil and build it up to create the piece. The inside and the outside of the piece is the same. The piece is made from a black or brown stoneware clay body, unglazed and fired to cone 5.
